Mohawk Turf Package for Two-Post Lifts

JRH Spotlight on Mohawk Turf Packages Jack Hamer, JRH Equipment's innovative principal, says "Let me show you how to make one lift do the work of two." What Jack has in mind is using Mohawk's new Turf Package to convert two-post lifts to handle ground-care maintenance vehicles.

The legendary Mohawk System I two-post lift has a capacity of 9,000 lbs. It's big brothers, the LMF-12 and TP-15 (seen hoisting a utility truck in the upper left-hand photo) lift 12,000 and 15,000 lb. vehicles, respectively. These heavy duty frame contact lifts are ideal for cars, trucks, vans, and utility vehicles but aren't suitable for golf carts, ride-on lawn mowers, tractors and other turf maintenance equipment, which need to be lifted by their wheels.

Some golf courses, country clubs, and municipal parks use light-duty floor jacks, creepers and jack stands to service turf equipment. Others invest in separate four-post lifts. But Jack says "There's a better way. Look at my Turf Package."

Packages are also available for the popular LMF-12 and TP-15 hydraulic lifts. The photo at left shows the lawn mower wheel dishes of a Turf Package under a tractor ready for lifting. Installation of the Package is a simple, quick, one-man job. The converted lift combines the advantages of a four-post ramp lift with the flexibility of a two-post frame contact lift — while taking up less floor space than most four-post models!
